Mark Mendez is a veteran sports photojournalist who has spent 32 years at KSAT 12 capturing some of the biggest moments in sports and news. 

His extensive coverage includes NBA Finals, NBA All-Star Games, NBA Drafts, the University of Texas 2006 National Championship and numerous high school football state championships. He has also covered UTSA, UIW athletics in addition to local high school football coverage. 

Mendez has also documented major breaking news events, including the devastating floods of 1998 and 2002 and the Jarrell tornado in 1997.

UTSA Athletics has added a major local sponsor to its jersey lineup, announcing a partnership with San Antonio-based law firm Thomas J. Henry Law that will put the personal injury attorney’s name on jerseys for the Roadrunners’ volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball programs.
