SAN ANTONIO - After a 19-season run with the Spurs, Tim Duncan is being honored by Mayor Ivy Taylor and the city of San Antonio.

He will be honored Thursday by Taylor, who is declaring it Tim Duncan Day.

“Tim may not be comfortable with all the attention, but I do think he deserves it,” Taylor said. “Besides being one of the greatest players of all time, he’s also an outstanding role model. He taught us how to work hard, win and remain humble."
