SAN ANTONIO – Just hours after the San Antonio Spurs announced Monday that superstar Kawhi Leonard is probable for the first time this season, Leonard was out making his presumed commercial debut for Footlocker.

In two separate videos shared to Footlocker’s official Instagram page, Leonard went selfie-style to share some details on the shoe company’s Instagram story titled “sneak peek.”

“Stay tuned, we got stuff cooking up in here. We going to chop y'all up, look at all of this … karate style,” Leonard said in the first video.

In the second video, Leonard is seen from a behind-the-scenes perspective using his hands to break three boards after telling a couple karate kids to “chop it up.”

Spurs and NBA fans alike will recall the last time a Spurs player was in a Footlocker commercial, when Tim Duncan showed his “excitement,” and dropped a plant in the process.

With Leonard’s debut in the Footlocker world, it is safe to say fans are looking forward to his season debut in a Spurs uniform on Tuesday.

KSAT-12 has a crew in Dallas for Tuesday's game and will be live from the American Airlines Center beginning at 5 p.m., with tip-off against the Mavericks at 7:30 p.m.
