Irving listed New York, Miami, San Antonio and Minnesota, ESPN reports

SAN ANTONIO – Cleveland Cavaliers' point guard Kyrie Irving reportedly wants out of his commitment to the Cavaliers and included the San Antonio Spurs on his short list of trade destinations.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Cleveland vet brought up San Antonio as a "primary" trade destination. Other teams on Irving's short list include the New York Knicks, the Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves, ESPN's Chris Haynes reported.

Irving reportedly told Cavaliers' owner Dan Gilbert "he wants to play in a situation where he can be more of a focal point," and that he no longer had interest in playing alongside Lebron James, a report from ESPN said.

Irving was drafted first overall by the Cavaliers in 2011, appearing and starting in 72 games for the Cavaliers. Irving averaged 25 points a game for the 2016-2017 season -- a record for his professional career.
