Wilson throws 5 more TD passes, Seahawks beat Cowboys 38-31
Metcalf caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Wilson with 1:47 remaining, and the Seattle Seahawks held off the Dallas Cowboys 38-31 on Sunday. Wilson threw five touchdown passes, setting a record for most scoring passes in the first three games of a season with 14. Wilson became the first QB to have at least four TD passes in each of the first three games. But when Seattle needed a big play late, Wilson floated a pass into the end zone for Metcalf. But Prescott threw TD passes of 42 yards to Cedrick Wilson and 43 yards to Michael Gallup, and Greg Zuerlein’s 42-yard field goal with 4:03 left gave Dallas a 31-30 lead.
Judson grad Alton Robinson drafted by Seahawks
Syracuse edge rusher Alton Robinson got the call from the Seattle Seahawks early in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In his last two seasons with the Orange, the 6-foot-3, 264 pound pass rusher developed into a consistent threat, recording 14.5 sacks and 85 tackles. During his junior year, Robinson posted a team-high 17 tackles for loss en route to earning second-team All-ACC honors. He followed that performance up with another solid campaign in 2019, notching 9.5 tackles for loss and three pass breakups in 12 starts. Robinson will join fellow former Judson Rocket Tre Flowers on the Seahawks roster.
