Convicted thief from San Antonio who promised to never work in contracting again now accused of similar scheme
SAN ANTONIO – A convicted thief who was once referred to by a judge as a “wolf who preys on the sheep of society" is now accused of carrying out a similar scheme after his release from jail last year. Lisa Fairchild said Elizondo abandoned the job despite structural issues with a fence, gates and a deck he installed in her backyard. She said after searching the internet, she finally made the realization that C. Rene Elizondo was actually Carlos Elizondo. Crystal McMillan said she realized Rene Elizondo was actually Carlos Elizondo after recalling how she made her initial payment for the work. Crystal and Damian McMillan say Elizondo abandoned his work on a deck for their backyard after installing four wooden posts.
