San Antonio mother catches thieves stealing toys from daughterโs grave
SAN ANTONIO โ A San Antonio mother is fighting back after she caught two people stealing toys from her daughterโs grave on surveillance video. I said, โMy daughter canโt even rest peacefully because they are taking her belongings.โโThe first camera Kennedy put up was vandalized. To me, all of that stuff is valuable to me because I buy it from my heart for my daughter.โKennedy has filed a police report with San Antonio police. She said she wants the men caught, and she wants better security for the sake of the many loved ones buried at the cemetery. San Antonio familyโs lawn mower used to maintain cemetery stolen
La Vernia โ A San Antonio family is asking the community for help with the return of their stolen lawn mower they used to maintain a cemetery where their 16-year-old son was buried. He treated his family like friends.โWhen Ibraheem Azooz, or Ibie, passed away, he was buried in the Islamic Cemetery in La Vernia off County Road 341. In addition to visiting their son and maintaining the trees in the cemetery multiple times a week, every Sunday, they cut the grass. It is heartbreaking.โThe family has since taken their search to social media, to flyers, and to the La Vernia Police Department. San Antonio โ A San Antonio man has dedicated several months to cleaning and revitalizing some of San Antonioโs oldest gravestones. This man, who asked not to be identified, has cleaned at least 400 gravestones in the San Fernando Cemetery #2 since last May. I have no special talent for this or anything, it is just something I enjoy doing.โSome of the gravestones heโs cleaned are at least 100-years-old.
