Eristea MartinezEristea Martinez, 81, of Brackettville died on Nov. 10, 2019, in Abilene. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 S. Ann St. in Brackettville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose Martinez; six brothers, Pete Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Jimmy Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Leon Hernandez and Ramon Hernandez; and three sisters, Carmel Hernandez, Louisa Hernandez and Juanita Hernandez. She is survived by two sons, Danny Martinez and Jimmy Martinez; both of Brackettville; and two sisters, Gloria De La Rosa and Jovita Munoz, both of Brackettville. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Rios, Devon Lopez, Marcus Garcia, Vicente Garcia Jr., all of Brackettville, Joe Garcia, of Kentucky, Ruben Rios and Vicente Garcia Sr., both of Sterling City, and Abel Garcia Jr. of Sonora.
