SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio fire investigators are trying to determine how a fire started in the garage of a Northeast Side home early Thursday morning. They say the people who live in the home, located in the 4700 block of Emden Hollow, told them they woke up to a popping noise around 4:30 a.m. They soon noticed a fire in the garage attached to their home. A car and pickup that were parked in the driveway were damaged by the fire. Investigators are looking into whether one of several appliances in the garage possibly sparked the flames.
