LOUIS โ The attorney for a St. Louis couple facing felony charges for waving guns at racial injustice protesters who marched near their home asked a judge Wednesday to remove the city's top prosecutor and her entire office from the case. The McCloskeys' attorney, Joel Schwartz, cites emails referencing the case that were sent to potential donors ahead of Gardnerโs primary election victory in August. โThere's no place in our system, in our judicial system, for a political trial,โ Schwartz told Judge Thomas Clark II. In charging the McCloskeys, Gardner drew criticism from President Donald Trump, Missouri Gov. They've been in frequent contact with Trump, Schwartz said earlier this month and again on Wednesday.

Malta seeks shark tooth fossil presented to Prince George

Culture Minister Jose Herrera said he will โget the ball rollingโ to bring back the tooth to be exhibited in a Maltese museum. Attenborough, 94, presented the fossil to Prince George during a private viewing of his new documentary at Kensington Palace. Photos released by the palace over the weekend showed the 7-year-old prince looking intrigued as he looked at the tooth. Kensington Palace declined to comment.

St. Louis Zoo says python laid 7 eggs without male help
ST. LOUIS โ Experts at the St. Louis Zoo are trying to figure out how a 62-year-old ball python laid seven eggs despite not being near a male python for at least two decades. Mark Wanner, manager of herpetology at the zoo, said it unusual but not rare for ball pythons to reproduce asexually. โSheโd definitely be the oldest snake we know of in history,โ to lay eggs, Wanner said, noting the she is the oldest snake ever documented in a zoo. Three of the eggs remain in an incubator, two were used for genetic sampling and snakes in the other two eggs did not survive, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The only other ball python in the zooโs herpetarium is a male that's about 31.
Couple draw guns at crowd heading to St. Louis mayor's home

LOUIS A white couple pointed guns at protesters in St. Louis as a group marched toward the mayor's home to demand her resignation after she read the names and addresses of several residents who supported defunding the police department during an online briefing. A social media video showed the armed couple standing outside of their large home Sunday evening in the upscale Central West End neighborhood of the Missouri city. In the video, the unidentified couple shouted at protesters, while people in the march moved the crowd forward, urging participants to ignore them. It wasn't immediately clear whether St. Louis police were aware of the incident. An online petition calling for Krewson's resignation had about more than 43,000 signatures as of early Monday.

Cheetahs usually give birth to between two to eight cubs at a time, according to National Geographic. There have been very few studies linking Zika virus to infertility in men.
