Traffic Alert: Accident on Loop 410 at Ray Ellison has cleared

SAN ANTONIO – (UPDATE: 8:20 a.m.) 

The major accident on Loop 410 at Ray Ellison has cleared.

All lanes are open once again.

A major accident has been reported on Loop 410 at Ray Ellison on the city's far Southwest Side.

There are reports of an SUV stuck into an 18-wheeler. Loop 410 in the area is presently shut down.

Traffic in the area is backing up and police advise motorists to find an alternate route if possible.
