Rollover crash in parking lot of North Star Mall sends driver to hospital Crash occurred just after 2 a.m. near San Pedro Ave., W. Rector
SAN ANTONIO – A local man was taken to an area hospital following a rollover crash in the parking lot of North Star Mall overnight, San Antonio police said Wednesday.
The crash occurred just after 2 a.m. near San Pedro Avenue and West Rector on the city's North Side.
According to police, a man in his 30s was speeding through the North Star Mall parking lot and missed a curve, just before crashing into some trees and rolling over.
Police said they could not tell if the man had a head injury or if he was intoxicated, as the man didn't make sense when they asked him questions.
The driver was taken to Univeristy Hospital for his injuries. His condition is not currenty known.
