WATER POLO: Brandeis girls, Boerne Champion boys make history, advance to UIL State
On Saturday afternoon, two area high school water polo teams made history and became the first programs to advance to the inaugural UIL State tournament. The Brandeis girls overcame a fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Brennan 23-14 in overtime, while the Boerne Champion boys knocked off Clark 16-13 to punch their tickets to state.
