BASEBALL: Boerne Champion forces Game 3 against Leander Rouse, Johnson, Boerne fight to keep seasons alive

Friday night proved to be pivotal in this year’s UIL High School Baseball Regional Finals, as Boerne Champion used a 5-run second inning to defeat Leander Rouse 6-5 and force a decisive Game 3 on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Johnson fell to Westlake in extra innings of Game 2 of their Class 6A series and Boerne forced a Game 3 against Sinton but couldn’t complete the series comeback in Class 4A.
