Bexar County buyers are getting scammed out of thousands of dollars — and it's happening fast. The county's Tax Assessor is sounding the alarm after at least four people lost anywhere from $1,000 to over $25,000 in vehicle purchase scams, with one victim targeted through a Spanish-language ad just this week. Many of these shady deals are going down in parking lots and other public spots.
