San Antonio's Pride Center is on the move — and needs your help

After 8 years downtown, the Pride Center San Antonio is packing up and heading east — and Zaria Oates got a first look inside. The new temporary space in Government Hill will offer free LGBTQ+ mental health counseling, case management, and more, but leadership is clear: this isn't the forever home they need. The center has already provided over 1,500 hours of free mental health counseling this year alone, and they've now launched an emergency fundraiser aiming for $100,000 to keep services running and secure a permanent location. Federal funding and grants have been lost — and the community is being asked to step up.
