A first look at a new Kerrville neighborhood for survivors of deadly July 4 floods

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has spent $82 million on overall recovery since July 4, 2025. Forty-three percent of that total has been spent getting flood survivors into temporary and, eventually, permanent housing.
