SAN ANTONIO – Stores all over town are offering up big savings for Black Friday, but some want to throw in a little extra incentive to get you up early and in the door.
Target is literally offering free money. Tomorrow from 6 a.m. to Noon the store will take 10% off purchase of Target gift cards. This is the first time ever the store has offered this discount and one of the very few times any retailer has offered discounts on its own gift cards. This deal is also available online.
Petsmart has a special treat for your furry friends. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the first 100 people through the door get a stocking filled with goodies. There will be treats, coupons and more, but it's best not to wait.
Half Price Books also opens up at 7 a.m. tomorrow. To get you out of bed they're offering a free tote bag and a $5 gift card. One lucky bag will contain a $100 gift card, but again, it's only while supplies last.
If you're looking to pick out the perfect holiday recipe, Costco has a freebie you might enjoy. Members can get a free cookbook called "Fabulous Food the Costco Way" totally free. The book features more than 200 recipes with color photos.
