So, we do officially know which days we get all the deals, but WHAT the deals will be is a mystery (and part of the fun).

Luckily for us,Β it's actually going to be two whole days of some insane deals and we can't wait.Β To be sure nobody misses a thing, we've got a quick guide to ensure you're ready for the best deals come the big day(s): July 15 and 16.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t say the first and absolutely most important thing you must do is become an Amazon Prime member. We’re guessing you more than likely already handled this part, so let's move on.

First of all, stop what you are doing right now and mark your calendar, set an alarm, leave some Post-its around the house --Β do whatever works for you to ensure you’ll be ready for the big day when the clock strikes 3 a.m. ET on July 15.

Secondly, beginning July 8, you can start β€œwatching” items you like to get an alert on whenever they go on sale on Amazon Prime Day. So if you’re perusing your app or the website and stumble on something you absolutely love, or maybe it’s something you’d like to see if you can love, just click β€œWatch this deal.” You’ll get an alert the moment that item becomes an Amazon Prime Day deal.

Lastly, when Amazon Prime Day comes, you know where to head --Β the app, online or Alexa, in case you weren’t sure. Don’t worry, we’ve always got your back. πŸ˜‰ In the app and online, when you look up an item, check for the Prime Day badge, which means it’s a Prime Day Deal.

Oh, did we mention you’ll get a preview of a bunch of deals before they even start? On July 15, you’ll be able to get a sneak peek on deals coming down the pike --Β before they even start. Here’s how:

First of all, you’ll want to make sure you get notified the moment sneak peek deals begin.

1. On the main page, tapΒ the main menu (three bars in the upper left corner) and click "Settings."

2. On the next page, click "Notifications."

3. Under the Notifications menu, make sure your "Personalized Notifications" is toggled on, along with any other notifications you'd like to get (who can resist getting notifications as your new items inches closer toward you in the mail?).

If you've followed our advice, you should be A-OK in Prime Day preparations. If you're curious which items were hot last year, click here.

Now you, my friend, are full of knowledge and power to take on Amazon Prime Day 2019.
