Donation presented during Oyster Bake logo unveiling
St. Mary's Alumni Assoc. donates $390,000 to university
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio is just weeks away from Fiesta and that means it's almost time for the 96th annual Fiesta Oyster Bake.
The new logo for Oyster Bake was unveiled Wednesday, but it came along with a generous donation by the the St. Mary's University Alumni Association.
More than $390,000 was presented to St. Mary's University to help fund scholarships and other needs the university has, alumni officials said.
The money comes from funds raised during last year's Oyster Bake.
The logo was created by the Dixie Flag Manufacturing Company.
This year's Oyster Bake is scheduled for April 20-21 at St. Mary's University.
