SAN ANTONIO – Good news for Cibolo: Santikos Entertainment is opening another theater.
This new theater will include a full range of amenities including the latest in laser digital technology, Dolby ATMOS sound systems, and the luxury recliner seating for which Santikos is known.

The perks don’t stop there. There will be bowling, an arcade, a restaurant and sports bar.
The newest theater will be located in Cibolo at the southeast corner of I-35 and Wiederstein Road.
This theater will be part of a master development in the area that will also include retail, restaurants and luxury apartment living.
“The Santikos business model is unique in that the economic benefits from the operation of our theaters are channeled back into the community through contributions, programs and grants benefiting local charities, administered by the San Antonio Area Foundation,” Santikos Entertainment CEO David Holmes said.
Santikos is the only theater company in the United States that operates as a social enterprise benefiting the local community.
The company is planning to donate $26 million to San Antonio charities in 2017 via the John l. Santikos Charitable Foundation.
