Attractions scheduled to open Spring 2019

SAN ANTONIO – A new species and a pair of new attractions are headed to SeaWorld San Antonio.

Park officials unveiled plans for a new turtle reef, a feature that will enable guests to get a close-up look at endangered sea turtles, along with the new family rides called Riptide Rescue and Sea Swinger.

The park’s website says guests will come inches away from rescued sea turtles, along with hundreds of Caribbean fish in 126,000-gallon coral reef-themed environment.

The new additions are in conjunction with the University of Texas Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas.

This marks the fifth consecutive year of a major project for SeaWorld San Antonio.

The new attractions are scheduled to open next spring.
