SAPD: Florida man robbed, shot SA man in neck Erick Arana charged with aggravated assault No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A Florida man is charged with aggravated assault after police say he robbed and shot a San Antonio man in the neck. Erick Arana was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Police said detectives were able to track Arana down by witness descriptions of his car and a partial license plate number.
Detectives said Arana approached the victim Friday night in a parking lot at Bitters and West Avenue and demanded money.
Arana then allegedly shot the man in the neck and fled the scene.
Police said Arana confessed to two other robberies that happened on Friday.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
