NEISD investigates principal's 'school management' Long Creek Elem. Principal Dawn Organ placed on leave since April No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A North East Independent School District elementary principal was placed on leave while the district investigates her management of the school.
Dawn Organ is the principal of Longs Creek Elementary. The district says Organ has been on paid administrative leave since April 16.
A NEISD spokesperson said they are looking at the work atmosphere under Organ's leadership.
A substitute principal is filling in for the remainder of the school year.
NEISD could either reassign or dismiss Organ depending on the outcome of their investigation.
Organ joined the district in 2008 and began leading Longs Creek last June, district officials said.
