The sculpture by renowned artist John Coleman depicts an American Indian with buffalo one one side and a cowboy and cattle drive on the other.

Officials said the sculpture will be the first object to greet visitors as they enter the museum for years to come.

The Briscoe Western Art Museum is located at 210 W. Market Street. It is scheduled to open this fall.
