Man accused of robbing ex-classmates at gunpoint

Former Holmes High School student Victor Lewis charged with aggravated robbery

SAN ANTONIO – An 18-year-old man is accused of robbing a couple of his former classmates at gunpoint.

Victor Lewis was arrested Thursday on two counts of aggravated robbery.

The two victims told San Antonio police they knew Lewis because they all attended Holmes High School together, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The 17- and 18- year old students reported that Lewis robbed them on July 12, stealing their cell phones as they sat outside a Sonic restaurant in the 6100 block of Ingram Road.

The affidavit stated that one of the victims also told police that he had reported Lewis to school staff in the past for stealing students' phones on campus.

Part of the description the victims gave police was that the robber has a distinctive tattoo of a cross under his right eye, the affidavit stated.

School district police used that description to come up with a name for the suspect, which they then shared with San Antonio police.
