An Eagle Pass man was found dead inside the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Hotel over the weekend.
According to the Eagle Pass Business Journal, Ranulfo Avalos, 57, was pronounced dead by Dora Madera, with the Maverick County Justice of the Peace.

Avalos was the director of the Maverick County Road and Bridge Auto Mechanic Department.
The cause of Avalos' death is unknown at the time, but it being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety and the FBI, according to the Eagle Pass Business Journal.
An autopsy was ordered for Avalos, which will be followed by his funeral arrangements.
