SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Sheriff's officials have identified the body of a woman found on Aug. 12 as 28-year-old Bianca Jimenez.
Jimenez was last seen on July 18 following a violent confrontation between her ex-boyfriend and another man late that evening.
According to her family, Jimenez's ex-boyfriend showed up at her King William District home and the two men got into a fight.
Her mother reported her missing the next day when Jimenez did not show up for work.
Since that morning, Jimenez's family has spent each day scouring Bexar County, looking for any signs of their daughter.
"I just get up every morning and take off randomly, not knowing where to start," said her father, Victor Jimenez. "I just head out in certain areas and start looking under bridges, woods, everywhere we can think of."
Jimenez's decomposed body was found on Aug. 12, 2014, near the banks of the San Antonio River between Espada and Southton roads.
Bexar County Sheriff's officials said they are treating Jimenez's death as a homicide.
