Man wanted in Compass bank robbery

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in finding a man who they said robbed a Northwest Side bank.

Police said the man robbed the Compass Bank in the 4700 block of Fredericksburg Road around 2 p.m.

The man handed the teller a note demanding money then jumped on the counter and started taking money from the register, police said.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and khaki shorts.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
