SAN ANTONIO – A teenager faces a charge of possession of child pornography after San Antonio police said they found videos on his cell phone showing him fondling a child.
An arrest affidavit stated that police seized Elijah Segovia's, 17, phone in December, then later obtained a warrant to search it after learning that he also had been accused of taking pictures of students using a school restroom.
The affidavit did not name the specific school in which this allegedly occurred or mention the school district involved.
It did however state that a school administrator caught him taking the restroom photos on Dec. 9.
According to the affidavit, police said Segovia would go into a stall, place his phone on the floor against his foot and take photos of boys using the urinals.
Police said during the search of Segovia's phone, they found two videos of him touching a child's genitals. Segovia was booked into the Bexar County Jail on Thursday.
