Rising Mexican singer killed in crash

Ariel Camacho, 22, killed in crash outside Sinaloa, Mexico

SINALOA, Mexico – Mexican singer-songwriter Ariel Camacho was killed in a car crash Wednesday outside Sinaloa, Mexico, according to media reports.

The 22-year-old had been on tour promoting his album El Karma in his native Sinaloa when he died in a crash on the highway.

The young Mexican artist was a rising star in the industry and had gained a following through his live performances and YouTube videos.

Camacho was the frontman for the band Los Plebes del Rancho and was known for his guitar skills and soft vocals. The band's album was released by DEL records.
