Woman rolls SUV down embankment, arrested on DUI charge
SAN ANTONIO – A woman was arrested on suspected drunken driving charges after she rolled her SUV down an embankment Monday morning.
San Antonio police said the woman lost control of her Honda CRV around 9 a.m. on Interstate 35 North at Medina River and went off into the median before rolling it down the embankment between the bridges over the riverbed.
The 31-year-old driver was uninjured but taken to the Magistrate's Office after police investigators suspected she may have been driving drunk.
She faces DUI charges in connection with the crash.
