Downtown SA Children's Museum closing Sunday Location to reopen as DoSeum June 6
SAN ANTONIO – As one chapter closes Sunday, another will soon begin at the San Antonio Children's Museum downtown location.
The museum is set to close its doors this weekend and reopen June 6 as the DoSeum at 2800 Broadway.
Sunday will be the final opportunity for visitors to stop by the Children's Museum. Popular exhibits at the museum have included a kid-sized airplane, life-sized David Robinson and the Imagination Playground foam building blocks.
Many of the museum's items are being donated and auctioned to make way for the interactive exhibits the DoSeum will house.
The location has been in operation for 20 years. The doors will close for good at 5 p.m. Sunday.
