SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor took to Twitter Friday to post a picture of herself at Google headquarters.
Taylor is in San Fransisco for the US Conference of Mayors. She said in her tweet that she stepped away from the conference to talk Google Fiber.

The mayor has long contended that Google Fiber isn't dead in San Antonio, rather the company is being careful in how it approaches the cities where it rolls out the high-speed network.
Taylor's tweet may be a signal that San Antonio is still on Google's radar.
