SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Riverwalk has a new official logo.
Incorporated in its design are iconic symbols such as colorful umbrellas, margarita glasses, river cruise boats and the Texas star.
The process to develop the logo began in 2014 because of the Riverwalk's growing popularity.
"The consumer and the visitor get something fun to take home. We'll have all sorts of (fun things). We'll have beer glasses, shot glasses, T-shirts, and tote bags, and hats and all sorts of wonderful things," said Nancy Hunt, executive director of the Paseo Del Rio Association.
Retailers can start ordering items with the logo later this week.
