Doctor in viral Uber video speaks out

MIAMI – The Florida doctor in the viral Uber video spoke to George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America” Wednesday.

Anjali Ramkissoon said she was having the worst day of her life, but she had no excuses.

Ramkissoon said she has a hard time watching the video, and her family has been targeted on social media since its release.

The doctor, who is currently on administrative leave, said she paid for the damages to the Uber driver’s car and apologized to him.

Jackson Health System says Ramkissoon has been put on administrative leave, effective immediately, and has been removed from all clinical duties.
