High-ranking Bandidos member pleads guilty in federal court

Justin Forster, 32, could face up to life in prison

Justin Forster was arrested as part of a federal indictment against the Bandidos motorcycle organization. He is charged with taking part in a web of crimes including murder, drug trafficking and conspiracy.

SAN ANTONIO – A high-ranking member of the motorcycle gang the Bandidos pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges.

National Sergeant At Arms Justin Forster pleaded guilty in a federal courtroom in San Antonio to racketeering, drug trafficking and extortion charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas said in a news release.

Forster, 32, could face up to life in prison when he is scheduled for sentencing Jan. 9, 2017.

Bandidos national president Jeffrey Pike and national vice president John Portillo and Frederick Cortez are scheduled for trial in August 2017.

Cortez is expected to plead guilty next week, officials said.
