Officers were called to a burglary at a home on Garraty, and the homeowner gave descriptions of two suspects. The suspect’s SUV was still parked at the home and was registered to Rodulfo.

A man matching one of the suspect’s descriptions was later caught trying to get on a bus. He was identified as the passenger in the SUV.

The man told officers he would not reveal the driver’s identity because he feared for his family’s life. Some time later, another man walked into the police department to report that he’d been kidnapped at gunpoint.

The victim said his kidnapper forced him to drive to H-E-B, placing his hand inside his shorts as if he were holding a gun.

The victim dropped off the suspect at a bus station. The suspect told the victim he’d be killed if he talked to police.

The victim identified the suspect as Rodulfo from a photo lineup.
