Murder victim found in car, no gunman found

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio police officer checking out a suspicious car in 1992 found the victim of a shooting, and his assailants have yet to be found.

On Jan. 20, 1992, an officer was sent to the 4300 block of Southwest Loop 410 south of Highway 90. He found a 1971 blue Oldsmobile with a vinyl top.

"The officer found the driver's door open and a man's leg hanging out of the vehicle. When the officer called to the man and received no response, he investigated further and found the man had been shot multiple times," police said.

The man was identified as Albert Brown.
