A Florida man faces a list of charges after reporting some cocaine and cash stolen over the weekend, authorities said.

David Blackmon, 35, of Fort Walton Beach was booked Sunday into the Okaloosa County jail on charges of cocaine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest without violence.

Blackmon, who reportedly billed himself as a drug dealer, told a deputy who answered the call that someone had gone into his car and fished $50 and a quarter ounce of cocaine from the center console.

The deputy reported finding powder and crack cocaine in the console as well a crack pipe on the floorboard, but said he did not locate the missing money.

Blackmon, who court records show has a history of arrests in Okaloosa County, was in custody Tuesday in lieu of $4,000 bail.
