Man shot standing outside apartment complex on NE Side Shooting occurred in 6200 block of Queen Castles Dr
SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering after being shot in the leg outside a Northeast Side apartment complex, San Antonio police said Monday.
The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Sunday at the Cambridge Village Apartments in the 6200 block of Queen Castles Drive.
Police said when they arrived they found the man shot in the back of the leg. The man told officers he was standing outside the apartments and saw a car turn right off of Rittiman Road and then pass through the gate when someone started shooting at him.

Emergency crews transported the man to San Antonio Military Medical Center for his injury.
A motive for the shooting is not currently known.
