SAN ANTONIO – Animal Care Services has released photos of some of the 136 snakes seized in San Antonio on Wednesday.

The snakes were part of the largest seizure of animals ever brought to the city’s shelter, with more than 500 snakes and rodents taken as part of an animal cruelty warrant.

The longest snake measures approximately 18 feet long, according to ACS.

One snake measures approximately 12 feet long and two snakes measure between 7 and 8 feet long.

The majority of the snakes seized range in length from 1 foot to 5 feet.
