New IKEA in Live Oak looking to fill nearly 250 positions

Store is set to open in winter of 2019

SAN ANTONIO – IKEA on Tuesday announced that they are looking to fill roughly 250 positions for its new store that is being built in Live Oak.

The diverse job positions include home furnishings sales, interior design/visual merchandising, customer service, safety and security, cashiers, facility management, warehouse receiving, stock replenishment and child play area supervision.

IKEA Live Oak also has food service opportunities open in its restaurant, Swedish Food Market, exit bistro and co-worker cafeteria.  

The company in the press release also announced its hiring for the manager of the San Antonio-area store.
