SAN ANTONIO – An 18-year-old man is accused of holding a girl and a woman against their will in a bedroom after stealing beer from a convenience store.

The man, identified as Jonathan Vallejo, is facing charges that include a state felony.

The adult victim told police she and the juvenile met up with a friend -- not identified -- and they later got in a red Ford Mustang that Vallejo was driving. Another man -- identified as Jeffrey Zavala -- was sitting in the passenger seat, she told police.

She told police Vallejo drove to a convenience store, from which he and Zavala stole beer, and took off back to Zavala's home in the 5200 block of Binz-Engelman Road, according to an arrest affidavit.

The victims said Vallejo and Zavala were heavily drinking and smoking marijuana at the home and at one point, Zavala fired a handgun outside a window.

That's when, the victims said, they were both told by Vallejo and Zavala they were not allowed to leave and held them in an upstairs bedroom, the affidavit said.

According to the affidavit, the victims were able to escape through a window after the girl's mother contacted Kirby police.

Vallejo is now facing two charges of unlawful restraint, with one being a state felony.

According to online records, Vallejo was released from jail Thursday after posting a $2,000 bond.

KSAT.com has reached out to the Kirby Police Department to learn whether Zavala has since been arrested.
