SAPD to conduct bomb detonation training Wednesday on South Side

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department’s Bomb Squad will be conducting training exercises on Wednesday.

SAPD said detonations may be heard in the surrounding area, but there is no cause for concern.

The exercises will take place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the SAPD Training Academy, located off Southeast Loop 410 near Pleasanton Road.

Officials say there will be several detonations.
