Defender's Debrief: 'Serial thief' who posed as cop, targeted elderly, sentenced to 4 years in jail

A serial thief who posed as a police office to get landscaping work has been sentenced to four years in jail.

As the Defenders' Dillon Collier reported, there are likely more victims out there.

The judge in the case called Carlos Elizondo a "wolf who preys on the sheep of society."

Dillon stopped by GMSA @ 9 to talk to Mark and Leslie about Elizondo's long history with the law, his explanation for his actions and the threats against an SAPD detective handling Elizondo's cases.
