You can trick-or-treat from your vehicle while safely socially distancing and seeing all the animals.

All times for the drive-thru experience are 5 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:

  • September 18
  • September 25
  • October 2
  • October 9

  • October 23
  • October 30

The regular walk through Zoo Boo will kick off on Sept. 19 and run through Oct. 31 - Halloween!

This year marks the first time guests have been able to tour the zoo on four wheels since there were carts led by donkeys, zoo officials previously told KSAT.

Vehicle sizes will be limited to 224″ long x 81″ wide x 74″ high, or about the size of a Chevy Suburban.

Guests who wish to attend the Drive-Thru Zoo Boo can purchase tickets for select dates for $65 per vehicle for non-annual pass holders/members and $32 per vehicle for pass holders.

“For a limited time, standard admission tickets can be purchased for a discounted price of $50 per vehicle with the code DRIVE. Enter the discount code at checkout to receive your discount on standard admission Drive-Thru Zoo tickets,” the San Antonio Zoo website states.
