SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are looking for clues about the person who shot a man overnight on the city’s West Side.
They found the wounded 34-year-old man in the 2000 block of Montezuma shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say another man in a black car had approached him, exchanged words with him, then pulled out a gun and shot him.
The victim was hit in the upper body. He was stable as he left for a hospital in an ambulance, police said.
The shooter drove away before officers arrived.
Early on, police did not have much of a description of him.
They described the shooter as someone who was wearing a tank top and driving a black car.
