Suspect arrested after stabbing man in road rage incident, SAPD says

The stabbing happened at 5:05 p.m. Saturday at Highway 151 and Potranco Road

SAN ANTONIO – A 49-year-old man was arrested after stabbing someone in a road rage incident Saturday, according to San Antonio police.

The stabbing happened at 5:05 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 151 and Potranco Road.

Police said two arguing drivers exited their vehicles and began to fight when the suspect stabbed the victim three times in the chest.

The victim drove himself to the ER at the same corner, and the suspect went home.

SAPD responded to the hospital, where they learned a woman had called and said her husband had stabbed someone after he was punched in the face.

The 49-year-old man was located and booked for Agg. Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

SAPD says the victim is in critical condition.
