McLaren supercar split in half in Texas crash; 2 people killed, reports say

A third person was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries

DALLAS, Texas – A car crash in Dallas left two people dead, one person hospitalized and a luxury sports car split in half.

Authorities responded to the scene after 3 p.m. on Monday in the 8500 block of Abrams Road.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident, including a McLaren supercar, authorities told NBC DFW and CBS News Texas.

First responders said one of the vehicles slammed into a tree, killing two people inside. They were identified as Robert Rocha, 31, and Cristobal Flores, 29, CBS News reported.

A person from the other vehicle was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, media reports say.

It’s unclear which vehicle that Rocha and Flores were riding in when the crash happened.

It’s unknown what caused or led up to the crash.
